CHEF MATT LOTZ
Starting in 2013 with a small grill and a borrowed trailer, Owner and Chef, Matt Lotz, began implementing years of experimenting with recipes, cooking, grilling, and entertaining.
Influenced by Bobby Flay and other famous grilling chefs, Matt passionately researched new recipes and just the right amount of quality ingredients in search of the perfect flavor.
TRG’s signature flavor is a result of experimenting with hundreds of seasoning combinations to develop a dry rub marinade for choice cuts of beef. Matt then developed a slow grilling process over charcoal embers to guarantee that great pit beef flavor you can only get at The Rolling Grill.
Based on simple principles like using quality ingredients, ensuring the food is prepared consistently, and providing friendly service, Matt is putting his knowledge and skills into his full service carry out, catering, and concessions business at The Rolling Grill.
